3 days 2 nights Balinsasayao tour

Take a day trip with us to the balinsasayao twin lakes where you can enjoy hiking, swimming and a fun boat ride at the beautiful lush mountain range. Lakes Balinsasayao and Danao are two small crater lakes separated by a narrow mountain ridge in a hollow surrounded by Mount Balinsasayao to the east, Mount Guintabon to the west, Mount Mahungot to the south and Mount Kalbasaan to the north.Tucked 850M above sea level, northwest of Dumaguete, the twin lakes of Balinsasayao offer scenic views and excellent nature hikes.

During the trip, you will be surprised at the view of the town below and many trees will be surrounding us. The entire ride will just take about 30 minutes until we reached the visitor center wherein we had to pay for the entrance fees.

Before we hike down the lakes it is best if we order lunch at the local restaurant.

After the hiking and boating the restaurant will have our lunch already prepared for us.Their menu consists of tasty native fern salad, tinola and chicken adobo. The fern salad comes from the fernery just besde the restaurant where they grow many different varieties of fern for cooking and medicinal use.

We can also look out for the lakes unique bird diversity. Home to not more than 120 bird species, including the rare and critically endangered Visayan Tarictic Hornbill, Flame-templed Babbler, Balicassiao, Writhed-billed Hornbill, and many more.
